Several years ago I attended the RCMP Ball in Beausejour and when introduced to everyone at the table, this one older gentleman introduced himself to me as \"coach\", and kept repeating \"Coach\", \"Coach\". It had only been some 40 years that had passed since I had seen this little man, and sure enough he had been my hockey coach in Virden. It was so long ago that I believe I was shorter than he was at the time. I had several occasions to visit with Bill after that reunion and we had good laughs about Bob Lane, Bruce Fowler, Gint Mckinnon, the Neil Bros. and the fun we had playing hockey under the guidance of the little man who always dressed to the best, he was ahead of Don Cherry! I am saddened to hear that Bill has left the rink, but he had a great live and contributed to my growing up in many ways. I will miss him. I extend my condolences to his family. Arvyn Gray

Bill was a great neighbour! We had a lot of fun times in our years living next door to Bill at Black Bear. Unfortunately we lost track of his whereabouts once he moved from Black bear/Beausejour. We think of him often and miss his jolly laugh. Norm and Janet

So sad to hear of Bills passing, So many memories in Seven Sistirs falls. We have so many stories to share, we will miss him. We loved you Bill ??, Brycee and Shawn Stogran
