A Service of Remembrance is a ceremony held after cremation, giving family and friends the opportunity to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of their loved one. This option provides the warmth of a traditional service with the flexibility that cremation offers.

  • Contacting hospital, nursing home, or health care facility to arrange release of the deceased
  • Funeral arrangements at the chapel or in the family residence
  • Assistance preparing an obituary
  • Clerical and administrative support

Registration & Documentation

  • Death registration with the Manitoba Department of Vital Statistics
  • Preparation of burial permits and death certificate applications
  • Four Funeral Director Statements of Death

Coordination & Cremation

  • Arranging details with clergy, churches, organists, soloists, florists, and cemeteries
  • Cremation at Wojcik's private crematory in Headingley
  • Proper identification verification and valuables check
  • Placement in cremation container and remains into selected urn

Memorial Services

  • Conducting funeral service at our chapel or your family's church
  • Funeral hearse to cemetery within Winnipeg city limits
  • Memorial register and thank-you cards
