I'll never forget Uncle Rog's dry sense of humor, love of jokes and laughter, and the love he had for his family, especially his mother, and their dog, Lady.

On my very first visit to Winnipeg, when I was 12, Roger, who was 23, spent two days showing me the sights. That memory will stay with me forever. Over the past 10 years my repertoire of jokes has been enhanced by Roger's wit.

I was fortunate to work with Roger years ago. I will always remember his fabulous sense of humour and how his wry commentary kept our 'ambitious' agenda planted in reality. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Roger was a class act all they way! The members of the Weston Wildcats were proud to have him as their manager. Faithful, loyal and committed. Probably the best dressed manager in the entire league. Thanks for all the volunteer efforts on our behalf.

When I think of Roger, I believe he was placed here on earth to show us the truest meaning of the words integrity, wit, humour and warmth. The world is a lesser place without him.
