My condolences to the family and friends of Richard. Having been through the pain of having lost a family member recently I can truly sympathize with all. Having read the heartfelt messages , it\'s apparent that he was a special person. If I could share one thing the really helped me through the grieving it would be reading the Bible. There are so many uplifting scriptures that you could read and meditate on. My favorite is Revelation 21:4. Just knowing that God will wipe away our tears is very soothing. Also John 5 28-29 points out that we will see our loved ones again.! Please take a minute to open your own Bible and read the scriptures. It will definitely help.

As a fellow Funeral Director I remember the couple of weeks I spent in Winnipeg giving Richard a well deserved holiday. He operated a dignified business and the residents of Winnipeg and area will deeply miss his passion for his profession.

What a lovely man Richard is and I am so sad for all of your family. I only met him a few times through the passing of my moms partner — but he made us feel at such ease and helped on a deep level.
