My sympathies to Norm's family. I was blessed to have an opportunity to meet and work for Norm at Justice years ago. His patience to teach was amazing and because of this, learning is an everyday part of my life. I will truly miss his words, his smile, and his fishing hat that he would wear to the office on occasion. Norm had the best fishing hat ever! Take care.

Norm would come to my raku class every year and bring his intelligent humour to the conversation around the room. He often questioned me and he would voice the devil's advocate point of view that made all of us think; while making wonderful clay objects. Norm, I never got to tell you that some people are just a blessing to our lives. Thank you.

Norm was and will continue to be an inspiration to me as a result of my working with and for him. His knowledge and ability to gently mentor will be a great loss to those who relied on him. Sincere condolences to his family who must be tremendously proud of him and his life.

I first met Norm when I clerked for him, and he later became the one to teach me how to conduct court. He was a wonderful person, excellent teacher, and good at so many things. My deepest condolences to his family.

Mrs. Sunstrum I'm very sorry for your loss. With my job comes testifying in court and that's were I met Norm. The first time I had to testify I was so nervous but Norm made me feel right at ease. Even on occasion in the coffee shop he would see me and always come over and have a chat. I will surely miss him.

I remember Heen fondly. I met Norman years ago and visited their Sioux Narrows cottage with my boss, Joyce Gleason. Helen and Norman were a nice couple. I remember when Karin was born. I am so sorry for the family's loss.

I will miss my friend Norm. Did not get to see him as often as I'd liked to have, but always enjoyed sharing a piece of Helen or Sandy's blueberry pie with him. Disagreed with his choice on the election down here, but hope he knew that his choice won before he left us. Goodbye my friend.
