Erika and family. I am so sorry to hear about Leonard. Leonard was my best childhood friend and remained so all these years even though we have not seen each other since my leaving Manitoba. He was never far away in my mind. Claudia and I recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and in a video presentation, there was a picture of Leonard and I, side by side, all smiles, full of hope for our tomorrows.I had promised myself that I would look you both up the next time I was in Winnipeg. We would have the longest talks on all kind of subjects, growing up from young boys to young men. As he has done for many, he made a big difference in my life.
