Ken was my Scout leader when I lived in Winnipeg. I have many fond memories of the camping trips and activities that he organized. My condolences to the family.

Uncle Buddy will be greatly missed. My fondest memories are of the three weeks I spent with him and Aunt Therese and family in 1983 when they graciously hosted me in their home while I started high school in Winnipeg before my parents moved from Cold Lake. From picking me up at the airport to making sure I settled into a new school and new city, he gave me all the time and support I needed. He was a great person who served his country and his community while being a great family man. The McLeod Clan is all the poorer for having lost him, but his legacy lives on for everyone he encountered during a long and well-lived life. We will remember him!

Bud and I were very close! From when I helped him deliver newspapers in Goose Bay in the 50s to our train/ hitching adventure from Trenton, ON for our Grandfather McLeod’s funeral in Halifax in the mid-60s. Bud and I worked together in the RCAF in Trenton and Winnipeg. He was a good athlete. Always in shape. I remember him playing football in Trenton on the Base team! He will always be remembered! Rest in peace big brother! “ At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember him!” Don
