We are very sorry to hear of uncle Joe's passing. Our deepest sympathies to auntie Rose, Linda, Karen and Danny. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the remembrance. We will be visiting our son and family in Edmonton but I do wish to share a memory from many Christmas's ago at Baba's home. Probably no one will remember that uncle and I had a perogie eating contest (baba's were the best!). I don't remember who won but I had 17! That is my fondest memory of uncle Joe, he always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.

Our deepest condolences to the whole family. Joe was the best neighbor and friend we could ask for. We will miss him dearly and our many laughs together by the fence. Our kids adored him. Nala will miss her ball throwing partner. We were lucky to have had him in our lives.
