Homi Canteenwala came far and worked hard over the course of a long, rich life. He could not have been more blessed than he was with his family and his loving wife of 47 years, Khorshed. He leaves an immeasurable legacy in his children and grandchildren and gifted us each with memories that will always bring a smile and cannot help but console us. Homi came ahead to Canada to build a life for his young family. In the tradition of great fathers, so too does he lead the way to the next life. See you in heaven Homi. You have earned your rest. So very glad to have known you.

We knew the Canteenwala family from school as Sony was at school with one of my sons and also got to know Khorshed and Cherry. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this very difficult time. He was a very gentle man and may all the wonderful memories keep you strong in the days to come. Take care.

Had the great pleasure of meeting and working with Homi @ Luke's Machinery in the mid 1980's. An EXTREMELY knowledgeable yet humble guy with a GREAT sense of humour that made going to work not seem like a job.His many stories and jokes always brought a smile to my face. Called everyone 'Buddy' but NEVER forgot a name or a soul.Condolences to his family...remembered fondly by many.
