Josie Falconer (Colleague and friend)

I have known Ellen since I started working in the Intermediate Care Nursery in 1983. She was a very caring, compassionate, dedicated, and excellent nurse as well as a good friend. I admired and respected her for her intelligence, immense knowledge, gumption and full of wits. When she retired she came back to cuddle babies in IMCN aside from her volunteer work in different hospices. She was instrumental in starting the Cuddler Program in IMCN filled by volunteers who are retired nurses or nurses who have extra time to spare. Her legacy in nursing will never be forgotten. She will be missed by the rest of us who've known her. Josie.
