Uncle Darcy, my sincere condolences to you and your family. Although we only met in person a couple of times, Liz was an irreplaceable part of our family. Dad loved to stop and spend time with you guys whenever he worked his way east to stay with us for his summer visits. The Legion and the Poppy was such a big part of both of their lives, if there is a branch wherever they are, they’ll have it running like a top. I wish we could be there for her celebration. I’m thinking of you all.

Liz will be greatly missed by me and my family. I always look forward to having a beer with her at Legion when I came to visit my parents. I’ve known Liz since my mother worked with her in Germany.
