I didn\'t know Ed very long, but he made a huge difference in not only in my life, but also my mom\'s life. We met Ed when mom moved into Deer Lodge. Ed quickly befriended mom and would drop by for frequent visits and chats. He soon started calling mom, my aunt and myself \"The Three Amigo\'s\". His visits and conversation filled many lonely hours for mom, and brought such a joy of friendship and laughter to all of us during a difficult time. Ed is missed, and will be forever loved and remembered.

I want to express my condolences to Ed\'s children and grandchildren, though I don\'t know you. I met your dad/grandpa in 2015. We began our volunteering at the Assiniboine Park Zoo at the same time. I found him to be warm, welcoming, encouraging and always ready with a smile. We happened upon each other last month at Deer Lodge Centre. It was so good to connect briefly once again. May your memories bring you comfort at this difficult time. Cathie Harris
